Members of Ballston lake Baptist Church visit the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Malta on the second and fourth Lord's Days of each month. Members visit with the residents and provide a thirty minute worship service in which one of the church's men delivers the message.
On the third Sunday of each month (after p.m. service) the women of the church gather for fellowship and to pray for mission endeavors at home and abroad.

As an application of the mentoring relationship between the older women and young women described in Titus 2, the Ladies Reading Group is conducted every other Monday afternoon. Books which address domestic issues and subjects related to Christian womanhood are read and discussed under the guidance of some of the church's older women.
A highlight of the year is the gathering together for this time of remembrance of the nation's war dead. Brethren from various churches join us for this event which affords opportunities for fellowship and recreation.
We stock quality, proven literature by such authors as Charles H. Spurgeon, John Bunyan, J.C. Ryle, John Calvin, Martin Luther, and others on topics such as church history, parenting, devotions, apologetics and more.
